Yup, so the weather has been bleak and cold and the urge to get out and explore was gnawing at me... so I researched a couple places local that I could do a day trip and Tumey Hills came up.. There was a note that it would close April 15th and I was like, heck we gotta do this... and we did.

It is amazing ( at least early spring..) I expect late fall would be brown and barren but that might be cool too?!

A few notes :
Lots of shooters... so just be safety aware. As you get further out there is less of them but hey maybe that is your thing and those are you peeps so be awesome!

Roads I were on were pretty good, though I expect that they get a bit rougher the further in you get and the grades are pretty steep.. so 4lo and your good to go.

Lots of camping spaces, so nice for an overnight deal.

Lastly if your a ADV rider ( bikes) then you will LOVE LOVE LOVE this place... all those years and I never knew!
