Retourner Jouer - Donkey Kong 64 (Rare 1999 [N64]) PART 01

My first attempt at playing Donkey Kong 64 developed by Rare released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64.

Managed to defeat the first boss after many attempts. 3D controls have moved on a lot since then, and I have always struggled with the era of 3D platformers. I am familiar enough with Mario 64 to understand the "C buttons" control the camera (mapped to the right analog stick on my 360 controller in this instance). Using the right stick in conjunction with holding the Z button (left-trigger) to select inventory items feels particularly antiquated.

Played on PC using an Xbox 360 controller running RetroArch 1.19.1 w/ core ParaLLEI N64 installed.
