They have: Highly specialized senses- Electroreception (ampullae of Lorenzini), extremely sensitive smell, & excellent vision in low light Efficient predators-Streamlined bodies, multiple rows of replaceable teeth, and diverse hunting strategies. As apex predators, sharks maintain ocean health by keeping prey populations balanced. But even though they are well-adapted to their environments, Sharks can be vulnerable! 😔

Due to their slow reproduction rates susceptibility to overfishing & environmental changes 🌊Sharks are remarkably efficient, ancient, and finely tuned animals—among the most successful vertebrates on Earth, but they are still susceptible to extinction. ✨🎣
