La Jolla trip, as usual searching for WSB, California Yellowtail, or other large fish that can make my fishing reel drag scream and taste great. The lure I was trolling is a Nomad DTX 100 Sardine. I upgraded the hooks with VMC 4X #2. I wanted a smaller lure that was, good for trolling and casting into the mix when large fish are hunting, but only bite small bait ( it is light, casts great and has excellent action.
