Wake-Up Wednesday - Week 6:

This week for Wake-Up Wednesday, Art 4 collaborated with Jeannie Hill. Jeannie is currently a Professor of Dance at the University of Wisconsin--Stevens Point, teaching full-time and choreographing for musicals and dance concerts. Jeannie has been teaching for over 16 years and has professional experience exceeding 20 years. She has worked with greats such as Bob Audy, Billy Siegenfeld (artistic director of Jump Rhythm Jazz Project), and tap legend Brenda Bufalino. She has performed at many renowned venues including Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, New York’s Joyce and Duke Theatres, as well as Sculler’s Jazz Club. These experiences are just the start of Jeannie’s long, successful career as a hoofer and performer.

In this episode, Jeannie leads us through her interpretation of mindfulness with a sun salutation and a full body, low-impact physical practice to engage our mind with our body.
