PHACE SAYS: "Noisia? They put Groningen on this planet’s music map like woah and on a whole different level. One of a kind creations, but so much more to me than just great music. All three guys plus their manager Walter have a place in my heart for half of my life. We got to know each other as young and just starting bedroom producers. It fulfills me with joy we got to share so many cool moments, both while moving along with our individual paths in music, but also in our collaborative endeavors. Their music and ways of thinking always has been, and still is, nothing but an inspiration. They also are some of the nicest and most interesting humans to spend time with. To contribute a remix to their last Noisia release installment not just felt like paying homage to their sound, but especially felt emotionally charged to me; somewhat like a „closing bracket“ for Noisia & Phace ventures. When Nik and I talked end of last year all ways led me to pick „The Hole Pt.1“ to vibe on. The original track is such a great example of going „all the way“ with a musical idea. It’s never easy to remix Noisia; it always feels like their music can not be touched. So I went down a different more melancholic alley with my interpretation, trying to create a mood that felt like falling into a deep hole pictured through my eyes. I got nothing but love and respect to them and I am looking very much forward to see what the future will hold for them, but also for our friendship. Without them, I would have missed so much.
