The Sunrise App is a tool that is designed to help people with communication difficulties to improve their communication skills.  It does this by giving them scripted dialog to practise on their device, while giving instant feedback to the user on their eye contact and voice volume.  It uses simple visual messages to tell the user if they need to engage in better eye contact with the device of if they are speaking too loudly or softly.

 

This is an ideal tool for people with social anxiety or who are neurodivergent or have a disability that impedes their communication skills.  It is also designed to be used by therapists who work with those individuals and it allows therapists to view and download the feedback data that is captured when their clients use the app.
