Toyota Tacoma Rusted Frame Repair, Complete Frame Replacement

When I bought this Tacoma a few years ago, I honestly thought I would toss a suspension on it and I wouldn't use it very often. But I fell in love with this truck and it has become my favorite truck to jump into and head into the woods, go an an adventure or find a remote hiking trail.

But once I got the truck I knew that at some point in the future I was going to have to deal with a HUGE problem with the truck and that was the rusted frame. This is a common problem with Tacoma Trucks and it is an issue that any true die hard Toyota will tell you that they have never heard of this problem all while Toyota is replacing frames for free all over the place.

When I went "frame shopping" there was no way to even get a frame from Toyota directly, and even on their website when you look up the part, there is no quick answer if the frames are the same between the 2wd and the 4wd.

So this video will answer that question, as well as how to shorten a Tacoma Frame to make an access cab truck frame work with a standard cab truck.
