Druid was the first class I choose to play when started back in June 2006 World of Warcraft Patch 1.6. 505 Played days later I have decided to share with you what it takes to become a top100 Balance Druid.

There are hundreds of add-ons available for World of Warcraft, many of which does not contribute to to your performance. The most useful add-ons for the balance druids are::

1: On a shared first place are; Boss specific add-ons and targeting add-ons. To give you an example of a boss specific add-on check out Iskar Assist. This add-on helps you correctly and promptly pass the Eye of Anzu on to a target with the debuff.

Targeting add-on is a must for the Balance Druid spec due to it’s dotting nature. Tidy plates makes dot management on add fights a walk in the park, while Shadowed Unit Frames makes dot management easy on multi-boss fights.

Number 2: In second place and also very important for performance are aura “buffs” tracking add-ons. These help you track the duration of your trinket and weapon enchant proc as well as your DPS and survivability enhancing spells. Due to the Warlords of Draenor Balance Druid changes on how the Balance Druids dot works (trinkets that grant periodic stat increases are no longer as good as they used to be, simply because of the dynamic nature of dots) these add-ons are far less performance enhancing than they used to be.
