China Arrests 30 Christian Pastors | Is This the Beginning of a Major Crackdown on Christianity?


A shocking and heartbreaking incident has taken place in China.
On October 10, 2025, Chinese authorities arrested Pastor Ezra Jin (Jin Mingri) — the well-known leader of Zion Church, along with 30 pastors and staff members connected to the church.

The arrests were carried out simultaneously across six provinces, and the pastors were accused of “illegal use of information networks” — meaning they conducted online worship and Bible study without government approval.

Zion Church is a house church network, operating independently of government control, and this move is being seen as a major crackdown on religious freedom in China.
International organizations such as International Christian Concern (ICC) and Barnabas Fund have condemned these arrests, calling them a new wave of persecution against Christians.
