Scoobys Pool Bar in Galé, just a stone's throw from Albufeira, is the kind of place you walk into and think "right, now I'm on holidays!" Scoobys is much more than just a bar - it's an all day restaurant, has great entertainment, krazy golf, kiddies play area, a fantastic pool and lovely staff. All this and beer too!Scoobys is set in a large private garden, complete with one of the deepest pools in the Algarve - just shy of 4 metres. There is a 15 hole Krazy golf course, pool tables and a games area. You can watch all your favourite sports, enjoy quiz and bingo nights.Families are really well looked after here. Aside from having a menu that will appeal to the fussiest eater, children have plenty of entertainment - a slide into the pool, a large grassed play area with swings and slides, an enclosed play pen area for the under 5's. There is even a specified baby changing area.Traditional home-cooked food is served all day at Scoobys, including one of the best English breakfasts in the area - real sausages, real tea.....You can also enjoy pies, steaks, burgers and chicken. The food is freshly prepared. Early in the morning you can see the team pickng strawberries, tomatoes, lettuces from their very own garden. Not to mention collecting eggs from the Scooby chickens!There is a FREE return minibus service to your holiday accommodation after 6pm. They have full Sky, Setanta and all the sports channels. And the bar has free wi-fi access, with a super speedy connection, for their customers.Another great service provided is suitcase storage. Often on the last day of your stay you have to vacate the holiday villa in the morning, but only fly out at night. You can store your luggage at Scoobys and spend the day here, making the most of your last precious day of holidays.When you visit Scoobys you are bound to run into Simon the owner. He and all his team make a big effort to keep their clients happy and entertained. The food is fresh, the gardens are pretty and the whole area is kept very clean.
