Today, we’re back making our Pokémon Rom Hack. In this episode, I wanted to try and some Pokémon to Brock’s newly created den

I wanted to add in an Onix and Geodude Ace, and I was hoping to add the actual Pokémon to our map

Unfortunately, the developers only added a handful of the world map Pokémon spites, so in the end I opted for the standard Poke Ball. There are several sprite slots available, so I could add in my own at some point Ace, but for now the Poke Ball will do.

Now as for giving the player the actual Pokémon, I found out very quickly that I was going to have to do a bit of scripting.

I wanted to keep all the scripting till the next episode Ace, so for now I decided to just use one of the preexisting in game scripts

I’ll save the actual scripting for the next video
