We start our session with Gene's introduction and overview to DB2 Web Query. Gene will then review the exciting new enhancements in version 2.1 and demonstrate InfoAssist , the new graphical development tool that allows report developers to easily create reports and charts - and then instantly transform those elements into a coordinated Active dashboard.

Next, Alan Jordan we will show you how to recognize the problems and limitations associated with using operational data for business intelligence reporting. He will help you understand the options for resolving these issues, as well as the merits of each approach.

Next Alan will help the audience have a good understanding of the benefits of using RODIN, Coglin Mill's ETL product, in conjunction with DB2 Web Query. This will show simplify report generation, provide extensive capabilities in data transformation and validate and empower your users.

Jackie will tie it all together by showcasing Web Query's mobile technologies.
