NiSi Black Mist Filter Field Test

The NiSi Circular Black Mist is a redevelopment of NiSi's very popular cinema range "Allure Mist Black Filters" and is now available in our circular range.
Perfect for stills or video, the Black Mist lowers contrast, so highlights within the frame are diffused, helping to balance the tonal range among highlights and shadows. The NiSi Black Mist creates that cinematic look and is commonly used to softens wrinkles, blemishes and creates a flattering image of a subject.
The most effective filter effect can be discovered when capturing light that diffuses softly when backlit. It creates a transparent light that looks like it was taken with a high-class old lens. The NiSi Black Mist makes searching for light fun.
This filter is constructed from optical glass and grades of 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 are available. This filters effect becomes approximately twice as strong with each grade number increase.
Available in 49mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm and 82mm filter threads.
