I have run into Robert playing his flute at the very TOP of the male vortex rock outcropping in Boynton Canyon several times over the years. The first time I was there, I was spreading ashes for a friend, when I came around the front of the rock formation, there he was; he just appeared there. Robert helped me climb to the very top of the rock with him, showed me where to put my hands and my feet in order to get up to the very high point. I sat beside him while he played his flute and explained about the unconditional love of Mother Earth and how it would be channelled through to me in the stone heart that he had pressed into my palm. This trip, I found him again one cold morning, and we climbed up to the top together again. "How long has it been since you've been up here?" He asked. "A couple of years, and it's nice to see you again." When you have an open heart and an open mind, you can climb to the very top of a vortex rock outcropping and sit with a man playing a flute, while tears of joy stream down your cheeks and the view takes your breath away.
