I had the opportunity to do some line strength testing with the Soft Steel Ultra Premium Monofilament.
For this test, I used the 30lb Ultra with a diameter of .55. This stuff is STRONG! The 30lb had a breaking point of 51lbs. That is absolutely amazing!! 170% of its rated weight. And with all of that strength, it is really supple, which is a rarity. so what is the best fishing line out there? It very well could be Soft Steel.
