Ryzen 7000 APUs will surely be a generational leap with more cores, higher clocks and much higher IPC.
Meanwhile Ryzen 5000 APUs are still amazing, absolutely fast enough and quite efficient, and they are getting lower in price.
So this makes Ryzen 6000 kind of a make shift update to Ryzen 5000 with not much of an update to the actual CPU. The iGPU is now based on RDNA2 architecture, brings massive upgrades to graphics performance which makes Ryzen 6000 very well suited for thin and light notebooks which don't feature dedicated GPUs, not so much for gaming laptops with big dedicated GPUs.
