Advices for hostage protection in this map:

° The two rooms upstairs are the easier ones to defend because you can spawn kill many enemies and there are no hatches to worry about (which is a big problem in the other rooms on this map)
° When defending the master bedroom, you can spawn kill enemies from the window there so focus there first
° Also, break the hatch open so you can kill enemies that rappel into the dining room
° For enemies that come from the main stairs or bathroom, you want to have some cover so reinforce walls to protect you (as shown)
° For enemies coming from the west, use a deployable shield (most recommended here) to break the line of sight to the hostage (you don't want to barricade the main door, so you can properly maneuver) but if you have barbed wire you should place it atop the main stairs and the bathroom to slow down enemies
° As for the places you want to maintain barricaded, close every entrance to the bathroom but the one leading to the bedroom, and the window in your room, but make a hole in it
° You also want to barricade the walk-in closet but only after it has been breached
° Don't close the workshop nor the kids bedroom to prevent enemies from destroying unnecessary walls
° Now, for the other option in the workshop to defend, spawn kill enemies from the windows; the small one gives you easier targets
° You want to barricade left and right walls to the entrance that faces the kid's room for protection (as demonstrated) and keep barricaded every door in the upper hallway except for those in the workshop as well as the two windows in your room (with holes to shoot from)
° Enemies will often rappel to the windows, so if you have a shield to break the line of sight to the hostage from those places, it'd be great but barbed wire is still more useful; you just place it outside the workshop to slow down enemies and give you extra points probably
