For my daughter, her beloved comfort toy has always been a unicorn — first as a tiny unicorn nightlight singing her to sleep, then as a soft plush she hugged every day, and later as the most magical symbol everywhere in her world: on her blanket, her schoolbag, her bedroom decorations… and in almost every drawing she made at school.
That real love and those precious childhood memories inspired me to write “My Little Unicorn” — a sweet, dreamy children’s song about imagination, comfort, and the magical friendship between a little girl and her unicorn.
It’s a tribute to the innocence of childhood, the power of dreams, and the wonder of growing up with a heart full of colors.
