🇬🇧 Victor Fièvre aka Fièvre got noticed in 2017 within the Chineurs de House digital community when he shared the single from his 2-step and UK garage sounding EP "Let me tell U".

In 2018, he pressed his first vinyl record and accompanied its release with a video with an offbeat tone. Praised by Jeremy Sylvester, one of the pioneers of the genre, and played by many DJs of the UK scene (Oneman, DJ Perception, Riz la teef, etc.), the record sold very well in London where he established his first connections.

His past catches up with him when he finds Soom T, formerly signed to the label he worked for before opening his own studio. An MC from Glasgow with an incisive flow and a background in reggae and sound-system culture, with whom they had promised to collaborate a few years earlier. The opportunity for the Parisian to launch into the production of a new EP, "Don't stop" with the eponymous single mixing Soom T's ragga hip-hop voice with a strongly Speed garage production.


The single gives birth to an alternative version, "Don't stop (2-step mix)", whose sparse drums, Soom T's hip-hop flow and the track's omnipresent bass could recall Wildchild's famous "Renegade master (friend within refix)". A happy coincidence since this is also the name of Soom T's own label!

Two remixes follow. The first one is signed by Ollie Rant, a promising London DJ and producer who brings to the project the made in UK certification thanks to an aerial and swaying production made for the dancefloor.

The EP concludes with a remix of Les Victors de la musique, the Fièvre side-project he developed with his talented namesake Victor Arnau.

The two partners literally dismember Soom T's lyrics in a ghetto house banger that is sure to drive you crazy. An unexpectedly athletic ending for this EP which will be released on March 31, 2023, ahead of the next Les Victors de la musique EP’s, scheduled for the fall of 2023. In the meantime, Les Victors de la musique live project can be discovered on stage this summer.

Son passé le rattrape lorsqu’il retrouve Soom T, anciennement signée sur le label chez qui il travaillait avant d’ouvrir son propre studio. Une MC de Glasgow au flow incisif issue de la culture reggae et sound-system, avec qui ils s’étaient promis une collaboration quelques années auparavant. L’occasion pour le parisien de se lancer dans la production d’un nouvel EP, « Don’t stop » au single éponyme mêlant la voix ragga hip-hop de Soom T à une production résolument Speed garage.

Le single donne naissance à une version alternative « Don’t stop (2-step mix) » dont les drums épurées, le flow hip-hop de Soom T et les basses omniprésentes du morceau pourraient rappeler le célèbre « Renegade master (friend within refix) » de Wildchild. Heureuse coïncidence puisque c’est également le nom du propre label de Soom T !

À la suite figurent deux remixes. Le premier est signé Ollie Rant, DJ et producteur londonien prometteur qui apporte au projet la certification made in UK grâce à une production aérienne et chaloupée taillée pour le dancefloor.

L’EP se conclut par un remix produit par Les Victors de la musique, le side-project de Fièvre qu’il développe avec son talentueux homonyme Victor Arnau.

Les deux compères s’attèlent à littéralement démembrer les lyrics de Soom T dans un banger Ghetto house qui a de quoi rendre fou. Une fin athlétique inattendue pour cet EP qui sortira le 31 mars 2023, en amont du prochain EP des Victors de la musique, prévu à l’automne 2023. En attendant, le live projet des Victors de la musique est à découvrir sur scène dès cet été.
