Alex: Hi everyone! Welcome to Everyday English! We’re so excited to start this journey with you.

Annie: Our goal is to help you improve your English by practicing real, everyday conversations.

Alex: And today, we’re starting with something simple but very useful—basic daily conversations!

Annie: So, let’s jump right in!

Alex: Good morning!

Annie: Good morning! How did you sleep?

Alex: I slept well, but I think I need more sleep!

Annie: Oh no! Maybe some coffee will help.

Alex: Yes, please! Would you like some too?

Annie: That would be great! Thanks! This is a simple way to start a conversation in the morning. Now, let’s practice together.

Alex: Repeat after me: “Good morning!”

Annie: “How did you sleep?”

Alex: Good morning! Can I get a large coffee, please?

Annie: Of course! Would you like sugar or milk?

Alex: Just black, please.

Annie: Okay! That will be $3.50.

Alex: Here you go. Thank you!

Annie: You’re welcome! Have a great day! Ordering coffee is something we do all the time. Let’s practice again!

Alex: Say: “Can I get a large coffee, please?”

Alex: Hey! How’s it going?

Annie: I’m doing well, thanks! How about you?

Alex: I’m good too. What have you been up to?

Annie: Not much, just working and relaxing. How about you?

Alex: Same here! The weather is nice today, isn’t it?

Annie: Yeah, it’s beautiful outside!

Alex: This is an easy way to make small talk. Great job, everyone!

Alex: Hey! Good morning!

Annie: Good morning!

Alex: How’s your day going so far?

Annie: Uh… good! Busy, but good. And you?

Alex: Same here! A lot of meetings today.

Annie: Oh! Meetings… I have one later.

Alex: Nice! Is it your first meeting?

Annie: Yes. I am… a little nervous.

Alex: Don’t worry! Just listen, take notes, and ask if you need help.
