Assam-Mizoram border tension: Time for centre to resolve border dispute? |The Urban Debate

On The Urban Debate, with Tanvi Shukla, we discuss the Assam-Mizoram border clash. The clashes that went violent killed several people in the process and 80 people were injured. Now it looks like the ongoing dispute between the two borders has been quelled and the situation on the border is now at its peace. However, Assam Minister Ashok Singhal says that the Mizoram government has not yet withdrawn its police force from the disputed site. Singhal said, “The MHA had ordered CRPF to be deployed. We have given our post to CRPF but the Mizoram government has still not removed its people from the post, which is sad.
