Baljeet Kaur, a brave mountaineer from Himachal Pradesh's Mamlig Panjrol village, is all set to take on the mountains once again after surviving a near-death experience during the Annapurna expedition in Nepal. Kaur, who is just 28 years old, recounted the harrowing experience to TOI, stating that two of the Sherpas accompanying her on the climb were inexperienced and had never attempted a summit before.

According to Kaur, they began their ascent towards the summit at 3 pm on April 16 and climbed throughout the night, finally reaching a point just 100 meters shy of the peak around 10-11 am on April 17. It was at this point that disaster struck - the inexperienced Sherpas began to struggle, and Kaur found herself in a perilous situation.

Despite the odds stacked against her, Kaur refused to give up. She summoned all her courage and determination, and with the help of another experienced Sherpa, managed to make it back down to base camp safely.

Now, Kaur is ready to take on the mountains once again, undaunted by the dangers and challenges that lie ahead. Her unwavering spirit and determination serve as an inspiration to all those who aspire to reach new heights, both figuratively and literally.
