This is a traditional style Australian Saddle with a solid steel gullet wooden tree. We can preset the gullet to suit any horse. One of the great things about these traditional saddles is that the tree is web strained, so the rider is suspended above the side rails and never sits on a solid base. The other great thing is that the underside of the saddle is packed with pure merino wool, we over fill the panels a little when new as they will compact a little to take the shape of the horse you are using. The saddle has all the usual features of our saddles, web reinforced fenders, solid brass fittings, and reinforced kneepads. Built for strength and comfort and will last half a century minimum if properly cared for.
