I've been really enjoying exploring more narrative-based composition, and for this track I really wanted to jump into that whole-heartedly! I mainly took influence from the complex harmonies of Claude Debussy's huge body of work, and Masashi Hamauzu's beautiful pieces, especially from the Final Fantasy XIII soundtrack.

In case you missed Intangible Ascension, Dive! and Echolocation, I'm excited to say (once again) that this is another track I worked on for Epidemic Sound! I'll be continuing to work with them going forward, which I'll be returning to a relatively consistent level of releasing music again. Over the past 12 months, I've completed 10 (!!) full new tracks working for them, so expect to see a lot more in the next few months! It took me about 8 years of my life part-time work to finish up Exhale, my last album, so I'm more excited than can really be put into words to have been provided an opportunity to compose so much of my own music.
