Back in early summer 2016 I was invited to take my Maxitrak 1" scale Burrell traction engine along to a charity event in Milborne Port, Somerset. The event was in support of the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, a very worthy cause which is based at Henstridge Airfield. They operate a Eurocopter EC135 which can be at any point in the two counties within less than 20 minutes. The event took the form of a garden party which was well attended and blessed with fine weather.
The TE had not been used since 2015 so needed a bit of time to get it up and running, and then it sounded really good. The video shows prepping, firing up and running.
