FINDING AND HOLDING BARRIERS

Finding and holding barriers is what makes myofascial release different from all other interventions. Holding at the barrier allows the fascial system to reconfigure itself back to healthier alignment.

As the tissue restriction releases, the holding of trauma, memories, or emotions release and this allows decompression of the tissue. The tissue then finds a more optimal resting place. The compressive pressure on the cells release, allowing expansion and restoration of their normal function.
