The Kankakee River has a secret- The Forgotten Waterway I Kayak Bass Fishing - Indiana

The Kankakee River in North West Indiana surprises me with how clean and healthy this river is. I spend the day kayak fishing for bass and pike in this forgotten waterway. Once upon a time this river took travelers and traders from Lake Michigan all the way to the Mississippi River and then on down to the Gulf of Mexico. This beautiful day on the river is full of great fishing.
