I attended a special screening of Friday the 13th part 2 in Blairstown, NJ, where scenes from the first film were shot. Steve Dash, who played Jason in most of part 2 (albeit uncredited) was on hand for the festivities and told the story of how he was cast to fill the role of Jason.
