Dr. Eduardo Rodriguez is a surgeon the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He specializes in aesthetic facial reconstruction, tissue transplantation, and total body reconstructive surgery. In March of 2012, his team performed the most extensive face transplant to date.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
