Throwback Thursdays! This week, Rare released it's collection of games (Rare Replay) and we decided to start with the classic N64 game "Perfect Dark." This is the spiritual successor to Goldeneye, and for any of you who played Goldeneye you'll notice that Perfect Dark runs on the same engine. The sounds fx and music really sparks the nostalgia. Unlike a lot of the games of that era, this guy actually has some cutscenes. We added necessary gameplay, but kept it minimal, as not much happens during the missions in terms of the story. You'll do a bunch of objectives like "shoot the security cameras" or 'hacks 3 computers" but most of that doesn't push the story forward too much. Either way, this way is still great, and is a classic shooter. We'll be doing Conker's Bad Fur Day next!

As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create a fluid cinematic experience.
