A hybrid ferry saves two million kilowatt-hours per year thanks to modifications to the car deck’s and passenger ventilation system. For the ferry operator Scandlines the new ventilation is an important step towards zero emissions.

Ventilation supplier ebm-papst designed a new solution for the car deck. The new ventilation fans can rotate and blow air in or out of the car deck when needed.
