This step when done improperly can be dangerous. You are doing this tutorial at your own risk, and I implore you to make sure you follow my safety guidelines when learning this step:

1. Please make sure you are wearing proper tap shoes when working on this step
2. Please make sure you are practicing these steps on hard-surface flooring and not on carpet or rubber flooring that you can get stuck to.
3. Please ensure that you have the ankle strength to complete this move safely. If your ankles are not strong enough to support your weight in this move, discontinue this tutorial or make sure you have barres or something to lean your weight into when working on this step.
