National Biscuit Co Marseilles, IL

This was amazing gem to discover. I have a love for old buildings, homes etc. I did some research I was astonished to learn it was called the "National Biscuit Company", we all know it as Nabisco. Sounds like beginning 1832 the water falls was a source of power for the town. Built in 1902 and in 1920 the 8th story which is the carton facility was built. I have been trying to find the date it closed. If i find it will update the video. After reviewing the footage the bird is actual a turkey vulture, it was so hard to see in the sun. I laughed now i thought dove! Far from it!! Looks like an angry rooster on the roof. Turkey Vulture. It was so much fun taking a look around this old factory. Creepy yes but a beautiful site also! It looks possibly for sale be cool if someone or a company did something with this old building. She is beautiful as she is though an echo of time :)
