The Pro Staff is one of the best control racquets in the history of tennis, and this last version comes in a modernised 100sq inches head size.

Wilson Pro Staff X could be summed up with: feel, control and precision.

The Wilson Pro Staff gets a makeover and enters the market with a 100 sq. inch - a first attempt if we exclude the 6.1 experiment.

This Wilson Pro Staff X has a classic design that comes in elegant earthy/rusty tones - it looks frighteningly beautiful in person.

Combined with Paradigm Bending technology, it offers flexibility and feel.

Thanks also to the Braid 45 technology, I felt I had a very precise frame in my hands: the double braided fibres are this time arranged at a 45 degree angle for even better feel and stability.

The string pattern is fairly dense and provides with a better feel and precise control, excellent tolerance and a larger sweetspot than its big sister with a 97 sq. inch head size.

To whom would I recommend this frame? For those who:

have an intermediate or advanced level of play, we are talking about a racquet that could be very complicated to use for an untrained beginner or competitive player;
want a control-oriented racquet that has tons of touch and feel;
has an aggressive game (with an excellent flair for closing points at net) and wants to dominate points by moving the opponent with deep, penetrating strokes;
