Описание к видео Promontory Point Golden Spike Centennial Engine Set in HO Scale

After over a 5 month wait on my order of the promontory point engine set, They finally arrive just before Christmas. After an initial quick check of the engines and the address assignment, I was off to Dan Hayes Layout for an evening of model railroading. Here you will see the inaugural run of these two fine engines of the Promontory Point Site where the Jupiter No.60 from the Central pacific Railroad met the Rogers No.119 from the Union Pacific Railroad for the Ceremonial Placing of the last and Golden Spike for the Trans-Continental Railroad. The location was Promontory Point Just north of Salt Lake City and Ogdan Utah. Today the Full size Replicas of these engines are rolled out for the demonstration of the meeting of these 2 engines and placing the Last spike, The Golden Spike. My Run was on the HO Layout of Dan Hayes in Greencastle, Indiana. Later on there will be a diorama built to run the Ceremonial Golden Spike as it did back then, This one will be taken to train Shows in the future.
