Today I am showing you the prettiest way to make a DIY keepsake footprint for your baby on floating frames. I made 5 of these and gave them to all of Kali’s grandparents and they absolutely adored them! I mean who wouldn’t right?

They are so elegant and a nice pop of color in any home, but most importantly, it is a huge keepsake to keep forever and display for all to see of your baby’s tiny feet. 

Even if you’re not an artist, this was not hard to do, but it takes some patience.

If your baby is a little older and not in the newborn stage anymore, it can be a little hard to get them to stay still to get their inked-up feet or hands correctly on the glass, and yes it took a couple of tries.

But you know what it was so worth it because I will save these little floating feet forever.

Side note - don’t wear anything you don’t mind getting ink on.

Other side note - My favorite frames had a big flower in the center and then I worked my way to design around this, my goal was to cover her footprints completely in flowers but you can design it any way you like! It will look best if both footprints are exactly the same, but again entirely up to you.

It will be EASIER with pressed, flat flowers, but I honestly love the way these 3D flowers came out, I think it makes it more realistic and lifelike.
