From the Cullens as an “elect” Mormon family to vampire transformation as a kind of Mormon resurrection, I think Stephanie Meyer’s faith shaped so much of this story. In this video, I break down the hidden Mormon overtones, purity culture, and gender roles woven into the saga. Whether you love Twilight or hate it, once you see it through an ExMormon lens, you can’t unsee it.
