Things to do in Seoul: National Museum of Korea

If you’re planning a trip to Seoul, you need to add the National Museum of Korea to your itinerary. You can explore Korea’s history inside going back to the earliest signs of Korean Civilization up to the Korean Empire in 1910. The National Museum of Korea also hosts several special exhibitions throughout the year.

When I visited the National Museum last year, I was able to see the Etruscans and collection of Joseon Dynasty landscape paintings for the special exhibit.

If you’re in Korea, you can visit the National Museum, but you need to make a reservation online due to COVID-19 restrictions. You can make reservations at this link and also find other information about the National Museum:

You can get here by public transportation with ease:

Subway: Line 4 or Jungang Line and get off at Ichon Station (Exit 2)
Bus: Blue #400 or #502, You can also get on the Seoul City Tour Bus as well.
