Bhaderwah is just the place where you are intrigued with each passing season, from wind rustling through the maize crops in summer, yellow & orange leaves of the Chinar in autumn and to the soft white quilt of the snow in winters. But, it is the chilly wind of the winters whose whispers are the closest to my heart. The fragility & rawness of the snowflake until united with its brethren to make a soft white quilt is something which speaks volume about its beauty and elegance.

Adding to its mesmerising beauty is the everlasting friendships of the winters. Making snow angels and throwing snow balls at your “mohalle k dost” gives another dimension to the serenity of this quaint little town.

The silence amidst the snow covered deodars is filled with laughter of the children every time I walk in Bhaderwah.
