House Refresh Part 8: Deck Stairs Episode 1 - Stringers
During our major house exterior refresh this year, we saw how bad the deck stairs were when removing some treads. The stringers were dried out and falling apart and the treads were loose. In this 1st of a 3-part series in edition 8 of our house refresh series, I tear out the old steps and build new ones to replace them. It was sizeable undertaking and not without a couple of missteps (excuse the pun) along the way.
Note that I’m not promoting any of the specific items used in the video. They are what I used at the time and other comparable things may work just as well.
