Описание к видео Harbor Freight 21 Gallon Compressor Repair How To. Wont compress over 60 PSI. Model 94667 Part 2

This video shows the disassembly of a Harbor Freight 21 Gallon Compressor Product ID #94667 First, had the pressure sensor go out one night when noone was at the shop. The compressor ran continuously all night, got very hot. Fixed the pressure sensor, got a replacement online, as harbor freight did not carry one in stock (wait was 4-8 weeks) and was $15+10 shipping for a small part. Got mine off eBay for $6 shipped. Had to run a few extra wires, but it simplified the whole system of this compressor.

Of course, removing the head from the cylinder, the gasket (which is currently not available from harbor freight (out of stock)) fell apart (part of the problem of not compressing high enough), as well as the head's 4 bolts were not torqued down enough (also part of the problem).
Because the gasket was damaged upon removal, I will be using PermaTex High Temp Silicone Gasket as a replacement. I am using the one in the black tube if it helps you narrow it down at the auto parts store.

I'm hoping that it was only the gasket and the loose head bolts causing the pressure problem. As if Harbor Freight does not have the gaskets, how likely are they to have the valves! So first, I will be cleaning all the old gasket off, and using the liquid gasket.
Letting it set and see if it works.

If not, I will remove it again, try flipping the valves over, and resetting another gasket. Last try will be to get new valves then, hopefully from HFT.
