New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake a reshuffle of his council of ministers at 10 am on Sunday before he leaves for China to attend the Brics meet, it is learnt. It will be the third such exercise since he took over in May 2014. Ahead of the rejig, seven ministers have resigned from the union in cabinet in the last 48 years. It is expected that ministers who have performed well will be given bigger responsibilities. The reshuffle will also keep in mind the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2019 and the elections to the four state Assemblies. Eight new ministers could be inducted, including from JD(U) and AIADMK.
