A single group of travelers, identities tangled and memories shattered, was flung screaming into the chaotic multiverse as reality split open with a deafening crack. Worlds collided - one where time looped backward in dizzying spirals, another where gravity twisted violently, another a kaleidoscope of impossible hues and shifting landscapes
But they were not alone. With them were their protectors - guardians who had long battled the forces lurking in the void. Together, they struggled to withstand the pull of the multiversal chaos, yet they were pursued. From the deepest abyss, the black void monsters stirred, their hollow eyes watching, their twisted forms slithering through the fractures of reality. They were the keepers of entropy, the sentinels of unmaking, and they would not let their prey escape
The chaos spiraled further. A pulse of wild energy fractured them again, tearing them apart mid-scream. Each found themselves stranded in realms where reality’s fabric twisted like a fever dream. A twilight void where whispers echoed from the future, a nightmare realm of shifting illusions where nothing stayed solid. They stumbled, breathless and disoriented, reaching out for companions who were no longer there
Voices warped, faces blurred, fragments of memory slipping away as they clung desperately to scraps of familiarity. The protectors fought against the encroaching darkness, their strength wavering against the relentless tide of the black void monsters. Shadows taunted in the abyss, laughter turned hollow in the dreamscape, and riddles twisted into nonsense. Panic set in - were they even themselves anymore? Yet glowing sigil fragments drifted through the chaos - beacons hinting at reunion amid the madness
The sigil, slowly reconstructed, pulled them toward the heart of the collapsing multiverse, where jagged shards of countless worlds clashed and bled together. Breathless, blurred, and barely holding onto hope, they pressed on. The protectors, battered and fading, made their final stand against the void monsters, holding back the abyss as the group reached the sigil’s light
Finally, in a blinding swirl of light and noise, they collided. The sigil, whole, pulsed once more. Reality rippled. Fractures sealed. Silence fell. The storm ended. Together again - forever changed - yet bound tighter than before. But the shadows in the void lingered, watching, waiting, trapped in the chaos of the multiverse, longing for another chance to drag them back into the abyss
