“Modi is a fantastic man…” Republican candidate Donald Trump’s high praise for PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a 3-day visit to the US from Sept 21-23, his first after coming to power for the third consecutive time. During his US visit, former President Donald Trump will meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi next week. Despite criticising India over trade without being specific, Donald Trump called Prime Minister Modi a “Fantastic man”. However, the Republican Candidate Trump, speaking in Flint, Michigan, gave no details on where they would meet. US President Joe Biden will host a summit with leaders from Australia, India and Japan on Sept. 21 in Delaware. Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi enjoyed warm relations while the former president was in office.
