We went on a trip a few weeks ago and while we were gone 2 zucchini got a bit too big for regular usage. We decided to leave them out till our 1st frost and see how big they'd get. They both made it to the frost and today we picked and weighed them. Since we weren't planning on eating them, they went to the chickens for a last taste of summer. Nothing goes to waste! #gardening #backyardchickens #homesteading #squash #zucchini
