Description: The field of smart textiles has been advancing rapidly over the last decade and has found applications in a variety of industries, including sports, medicine, and military. Our work focuses on designing and producing functional fibers/yarns for wearable smart textile applications including energy storage and harvesting, sensing (pressure, strain, temperature e.g.), and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding.
