THE HISTORY:

"Flower boats" were floating brothels in Canton, China. Thousands of girls were sold into them, some as young as six. Most never left.

Ching Shih was one of them. She spent over a decade on the flower boats before pirate captain Zheng Yi married her in 1801—not as a prize, but as a partner. When he died, she took everything.

She didn't just survive. She built an empire on the ashes of what they did to her.

This song is for every survivor who was told to be quiet.

You don't have to be quiet anymore.
