Circuit bending Newer Vtech toys are a bit of a challenge for me. Extra tiny SMD parts and multiple black blobs hiding the main circuitry make it hard to get past the intended sounds.

I used 28 gauge wires to solder and an LTC1799 for pitch bend and a couple of thumbtacks for body contact points, but after trying voltage starve and resistor/capacitor connections, it suddenly failed to work. Found where the magic smoke came from and bypassed a few components to find it mostly worked.

I'll probably quit while i'm ahead.
