Baked candied yams from scratch couldn't get any better... until you add marshmallows to the mix! This baked candied yams recipe is perfectly sweet, with a brown sugar butter sauce, warm holiday spices, and of course, ooey-gooey, golden brown marshmallows!

Timestamps for Candied Yams with Marshmallows:
0:12 - Rinse and peel the yams.
0:28 - Slice the yams.
0:43 - Add the yams to a large pot.
0:48 - Pour in cool water.
0:59 - Bring the water to a boil.
1:15 - Add butter to a separate pan.
1:18 - Add brown sugar.
1:24 - Mix the butter and sugar together.
1:37 - Add white sugar.
1:44 - Mix well.
1:55 - Sprinkle in the spices.
2:21 - Stir well.
2:25 - Add vanilla extract.
2:30 - Mix well.
2:38 - Place the drained yams in a bake dish.
2:43 - Drizzle with the sugar and butter mixture.
2:46 - Toss to coat.
2:57 - Bake until heated through.
3:08 - Add marshmallows on top.
3:30 - Bake until the marshmallows are melted and golden.
